Marion Jean Corless – Born August 16, 1937 to Walter E. Averett and Sarah Marie Moon in Heber City, returned home September 25, 2010 with her family at her side.  Married William Corless July 6, 1957 in Elko Nevada; later divorced.  They had three children, John (Shauna) Corless, Julie (Mike) Olsen, and Jamie (Debbie) Corless; seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Teri (Dave) McLanahan and preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Myrtle, brother Douglas, and granddaughters Megan and Bailey Corless.   She was a wonderful homemaker and always made sure that her family’s needs came before her own.  It’s been said that she could always find away to stretch a penny into a dollar.   After her children were grown, she completed a nursing program.  Upon completion she was employed by the V. A. Hospital, Dugway Proving Grounds and Tooele Army Depot.   She was kind hearted and donated to many charities.  She looked forward to traveling with her sister Teri and her yearly adventures to Swiss Days in Heber City.   The family would like to thank the staff at Cottage Glen Assisted Living, Mountain West Medical Center – ICU Unit, and Dr. Trudel, for their kindness and support.  A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Tate Mortuary located in Tooele, Utah.   Graveside services will be held immediately after at Grantsville City Cemetery.   May you find peace mom,  Love your kids.
