Lynne Christensen Peterson of Erda, Utah returned to her Heavenly Father on September 24, 2010 from septic shock. Born on August 7, 1939 to Juan F Christensen and Norma Mary Ottley. Married E. Kay Peterson in the Manti Temple. They shared 51 wonderful years together . Lynne was a very compassionate and sympathetic individual. Willing to give service above and beyond the call of duty in whatever she was called to do or chose to do. She loved beauty and music. Sharing her musical talents through singing and directing many ward choirs and especially enjoyed helping children and youth sing. The highlight of her life was her family, being with them in sharing experiences and joy. A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She will be missed by her family, siblings many friends who have been touched by her love and example. Lynne is survived by her husband; children, Suzaun (George) Richardson, Glenn (Betsy) Peterson, Tauna (Nathan) Falk, Lloyd (Lisa) Peterson, Maureen (Steve) McConnell, and Shauna (Kraig) Pulley; 32 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with 1 more on the way, Siblings:  Hal Christensen (deceased) (Teresa), Kent (Lorraine) Christensen, Terry (Julia) Christensen,Norm (Debbie) Christensen, Lila (Brian) Glover, Alan (Cherylene) Christensen. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2010, 11:00 am at the Erda Chapel, 134 East Erda Way (4000 North). A viewing will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010, 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main, Tooele, Utah and Friday, October 1, 2010 from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the services at the Church. Interment at Spring City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the General Missionary Fund or the Humanitarian Fund of the LDS Church.
