Marcus M. Minor

Marcus M. Minor passed away on July 31, 2010 from a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born 75 years ago to Frank Dee Minor and Faye Biggers Minor West in Mountain Home, AR. He was the third of 10 children. He attended Tooele schools and joined the U.S. Marines. He was a professional carpenter doing residential and commercial construction, working for Culp Construction for 30 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Loretta Young, in 1956. They had 4 daughters Marla (Mike) Wilson, Lois (Tracy) Harris, Marjorie (Mike) Jensen, Michelle (Steve) Knight, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Aug. 5, 2010 at Tate Mortuary at 11:00 AM with a public viewing 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service. We would like to thank the CNS Hospice, especially Katrina, Andrea, Jennifer, and Rick, for the care he received and Mountain West Medical Center for the emergency care.
