We chose these words from a letter his son Sam sent him in 2005.  Dear Dad, I want to tell you the things I love and respect about you. You are an honest man. You have always been a hard worker. I always had food, a roof over my head, and good clothes. You have always respected your elders. You taught me to work with my hands. We have the greatest country on earth thanks to you and the soldiers who didn’t come home. You love Mary Ann, that was a good decision for you.  I will love you forever Father. Sam L. Embry. As per his wishes he was cremated. There will be no services. His ashes will be scattered at the southern Oregon coast at a later date. Special thanks to Rocky Mtn Care, Mtn West Medical Ctr. and Harmony Hospice for his loving care. Save that jump seat for me sweetheart in your new Freightliner with wings.
