1966-2010
Robert, born August 22, 1966 in Vernal Utah to Robert Tharyll Cook and Faith LeAnn Amende, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2010. He graduated from Uintah High School in 1984. Robert then married the love of his life Valerie Kay Pettit on August 1, 1987 and they were blessed with three beautiful children Courtney Lynn, Brandon Robert, and Alyssa Ann Cook.  In his youth Robert was a Boy Scout and grew to enjoy racing motorcycles, camping, fishing, golfing, writing and spending time with his family. Later in his life Robert became an avid Nascar fan. He spent over 23 years of his life working in construction as a carpenter. His passion and skill for building made him loved and appreciated by everyone fortunate enough to work with him. He gave freely of his friendship, time and skill helping numerous friends and family construct their own homes for their families. Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by parents Robert (Patti) Cook, Faith Amende, sisters Shauna Graham, Cindy Bonger (Mike),and Denise, brother Kenny, his loving wife Valerie, and children Courtney, Brandon, and Alyssa. Above all Robert was a truly loving husband, father, son, and brother who will be deeply missed until we are called to rejoin him. Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Tooele City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 8:30-9:45 AM prior to the service at Tate Mortuary 110 So Main St. Tooele
