Ruth Nilsson Larsen, age 82, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010 at her home in Tooele, Utah. She was born to Ralph and Mina Nilsson on April 8, 1928 in Heber, Utah. Ruth graduated from Nephi High School where her father was the Superintendent of Schools. After attending BYU and USU she was married to Bob Ingram who passed away five years later. Ruth married Richard Larsen in Tooele, Utah on July 17, 1965 and they had 45 years of happiness together. After 42 years of dedicated service with the United States Defense Depot in Tooele, Ruth retired having received numerous awards for efficiency and excellence. She was a long time member and past president of the Tooele Civic League and a faithful member of the Tooele 11th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ruth enjoyed sewing, doing jigsaw puzzles and visits with her friends. She was a kind, caring and helpful neighbor. Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Richard Larsen of Tooele, his children Rhonda Anderson, Deanna Larsen, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, half brothers and sisters, Clifford, Paul, Lola Muench, Ada Rowland, and Maude Lay. Graveside services were held at the Nephi City Cemetery on May 26th.
