David Ray (Potsy) JohansonDavid Ray (Potsy) Johanson passed away May 18, 2010 of a sudden illness. David was born June 2, 1952 in Tooele, Utah to Francis Clark and Mary Matthews Johanson. A lifetime resident of Grantsville, Utah, he graduated from Grantsville High School in 1970. He served in the Army National Guard. Married Lollie Johnson and together they had one son, Lucas. They were later divorced. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting with his friends and family. He was noted for his sheep shearing ability both here in Utah and in New Zealand. At the time of his death he was employed by Salt Lake County. He is survived by his son, Lucas, sister Helen Kay Boyer, brothers, Bob (Maritha) Johanson, Dale (Merrill) Johanson. Funeral services will be held at the Tate Mortuary 110 So Main St. Tooele on Friday May 21, 2010 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held 12:30-1:30 PM prior. Interment will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
