Ryan was tragically taken from his loving family in an automobile accident. In his short life he had accomplished much and had many proud moments. His humorous personality and caring spirit made him a pleasure to be around. He leaves us with many wonderful memories. Ryan graduated from Tooele High School in 1993 and joined the Marine Corps in 1997 where he excelled and was an honorman in his unit and was promoted to a Sergeant with honors. He is survived by his wife Wendy and his three children Alanis, Trinady, and Kayden who were his world; his parents, Julie and Raymond Hatfield, Mike Goins, and in-laws Dave and Sue Robinson; his sister Stephanie (Brian) Steward; his grandmother Margene Colledge; and brother in-law Blake (Antoinette) Robinson. He had two nephews, Mikey and Mason Steward. He had many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends that will dearly miss him. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Raymond Colledge and Robert Goins, also Norman Painter, as well as great grandparents Jay and Ruby Neiheisel. A National Guard ceremony will be held at 5:00pm on Monday, March 15th at Tate Mortuary with a visitation with the family until 7:00pm. Dear Wendy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and Chris’ children… his Parent’s and Family.
I do know how you are feeling and the feelings that you yet will experience… I’m here to talk to if you ever need a shoulder…
Pull up the memories and keep them alive, remembering will help you through those bleek moments.. Keep him alive in his kids… always help them remember their Dad and they in turn will help you through some difficult times…
We never understand the “Why” of things.. But know that God loves each of you and calling on him will help you through… and never think that tears aren’t alright.. they are very cleansing for the aching spirit… I know this, I still cry over little things and memories and for me it’s been 3 1/2 yrs…
Hang in there… like I said I’m here if you need to talk, anytime….
My Love and Prayers,
Your Cousin
