1955 – 2010
Tooele, Utah - Della Mae Leetham Osterhout 54, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at the home of her sister in Grantsville, Utah after over a decade long battle with cancer. She was born March 23, 1955 in Payson, Utah to George William and Iris June Nielson Leetham. Della married Rod Osterhout and later divorced, they had a son together. Her life was her son and her other family members, she loved the outdoors and camping. “Sis we’ll be seeing you on the mountain we know your spirit’s there!” She was employed at Tooele Army Depot at the time of her death. Della is survived by her father, George Leetham of Tooele, Utah, sister, Judy (Kevin) McCoy of Grantsville, Utah, brother, Carl (Shari) Leetham of Denver, Colorado, son, Kurt Osterhout of Tooele, Utah, nieces, nephews and her loyal dog Sombra. She was preceded in death by her mother (Iris), brother (Bill), niece (Morgan) and her beloved dog Molly. There will be a viewing on Wednesday January 20, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tate Mortuary 110 South Main Street in Tooele, Utah. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 21, 2010 at the Tate Mortuary in Tooele, Utah at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
