CallisterJennieJennie Jefferies Callister, dearly beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother passed away Nov 26, 2009 in Tooele, Utah. Jennie was born May 31, 1915 to Richard Jefferies and Sarah Ann Parkinson in Grantsville, UT. Married Noel Thomas Callister on April 10, 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom loved to travel and performed on many Old Folks Sociables, also in all the Grantsville Theatre plays. She sang in the lst Ward Choir for many years and sang with friends Carol Jefferies and Sheila Hurst. She held many positions in the LDS Church over the years. She was a wonderful cook, we all loved her hot rolls. She loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed the little grandchildren so much. She is survived by her children, Kay (Bob) Miller, Kenneth (Dorothy) Callister, Thomas and the late Becky Callister, 19 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, nine brothers and sisters and one daughter-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Monday Nov 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grantsville 1st Ward 115 East Cherry St. A viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery. Granny we love you, you will be missed by all your family.
