Larry was so quietly courteous when he dropped in to say hello throughout my career at State Parks and tell me about his latest weight lifting experiences. He never once forgot to tell me how he loved his family and how his grandson was taking after him. He tried to please everyone all the time. It sometimes made him nervous when he thought he wasn’t doing something the way it was wanted. But he never let anyone down. I will miss my friend and his raspy voice and his victories and the awards all with his weight lifting and muscle building. Besides his family and his dogs, he loved his weight lifting the most. Lar, I hope you have found the peace you so deserve. We will miss you a great deal. You were my friend!
