Audrey E. Gustaveson

Audrey Ellen Parker Gustaveson went to be with the Lord Aug 18,2009, in South Jordan, Utah. She was 89. She was born Apr. 24, 1920, in Holbrook, Idaho, to Ralph and Tressa Louise Reser Parker. She married O. Frank Gustaveson June 12, 1938, in Tooele, Utah. With the exception of a few months at Knolls, Utah, they lived their entire married life in Grantsville. Frank died Aug. 14, 1974. For over 45 years, Audrey was a faithful member of First Assembly of God church in Tooele, where she was the church organist for many years. She loved playing the piano, flowers, sewing, quilting, crafts, and visitors. She loved her grandchildren, and loved playing games with anyone who would play with her. Most of all, she loved the Lord. She wore out many bibles. She is survived by a son, Ronald F., daughters, Lou, (Allen) Graft, Shelton, W A, VerLayne (Roger) Atkinson, Sandy, Sonya (Ronald) Orton, Springville, Ahn (Larry) Gilley, Indianapolis, IN.,12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Zane Grey (Martha) Parker of Sandy, and Smith (Ingrid) Parker of Mesquite, NV also sister Zepha (Richard) Boggess of Midvale. Also survived by Samuel (Esther) Ahn who called her “Mom”. Preceded in death by parents, husband, sister, Ivy Waldron, brothers; Sheldon “Bud ” Parker and Ralph “Tex Parker; great grandchildren, Scott and Ashley Hussey. We want to thank Inspiration Hospice for the caring service they gave Mom, and special thanks to Kathy Jackson and family/staff for the loving care they gave Mom the last months of her life. They were a Godsend. Funeral services will be held Sat. Aug 22nd at 11:00AM Tate Mortuary, 110 So. Main, Tooele, Utah, with a viewing Fri. evening from 6 to 8 PM and 1 hr prior to service. Burial Grantsville City Cemetery .
