Larry Brock Knighton 1969 ~ 2009 Larry Brock Knighton most loved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend passed away March 25, 2009 after a short and courageous battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends. Born October 18, 1969 to Larry C. Knighton and Connie Lee McDonald in Bountiful Utah he had a large family three brothers, four sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was then blessed with an extended family, Grandparents Marion Tanner and Norvino and Voris Kemp, Parents Roger and Debi Kemp and Art Welch and Mary Castleberry, two sisters, one brother and a nephew. Brock believed in one true love and wouldn’t settle for anything less. On December 5, 2008 he married his soul mate Chelsie Knighton. Their marriage fulfilled his dreams of a beautiful family. They were joined by their two sons Tyler and Alex and the great expectations of Noah who will arrive in July. He had it all if only for a short time. He worked as a plumber at Detroit Diesel where he was employed for the past 12 years. He enjoyed all his various jobs there and his co-workers. He was a friend to all who knew him. He has now been reunited with his baby daughter Alyssa who preceded him in death August 18, 2008. Ever the great father he is holding her now. Also preceding him in death are his Grandparents Myron J and Ruth Faye Knighton and his father Larry C. Knighton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Marguerites Catholic Church in Tooele. There will be a luncheon served after services.
