elwell_jeanJean Wanlass Elwell Grantsville, Utah Jean Wanlass Elwell, 54, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend died unexpectedly, Feb. 19th in Salt Lake City.She was born Feb. 24, 1954 in Salt Lake City to Keith A. and Catherine Wanlass. She attended Grantsville schools and graduated from Grantsville High School in 1972. She attended Ricks College. She married Mike Bolinder, Mar. 12, 1976 and together they had three boys, Scott, Shane, and Chase, they later divorced. She married the love of her life, Matt Elwell, July 7, 2000. At the time of her death, she was the ISS counselor at Tooele High School. She was an excellent mother, and cook. She loved her grandchildren, shopping, holiday decorating and scrapbooking. She performed many acts of service for her friends and neighbors. She loved to perform and tell a good joke. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Royal Order of the Moose. She was a member of the LDS Church where she held various positions. She is survived by her husband, children, Scott (Julie), Shane (Mandy), and Chase Bolinder, grandchildren, Bryant, Brooke, Addy, Madison, and Halie Bolinder, brother and sisters, Ed (Pam) Wanlass, Jan (Terry) Baird, and JoAnn (Anthony) Leonelli, in-laws Fred and Elaine Elwell. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Julia Kay. Funeral services will be held Thurs. Feb. 26th at 1:00 pm at the Grantsville Stake Center, 550 East Durfee, Grantsville, with a viewing 2 hours prior to the services (10:30-12:30). A viewing will be held Wed. Feb. 25th from 5:00-8:00 at the Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main, Tooele. Interment, The Grantsville Cemetery.
