Wilmer (Wimpy) Nelson

Wilmer (Wimpy) Nelson 94, born 1914, passed away peacefully in Tucson, Arizona on January 10, 2009. He had moved from Utah to Arizona many years ago to work various mines in Arizona for McFarland and Hullinger of Tooele, Utah. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (Kemp). He graduated from Tooele High School in Tooele in 1933. He was an active member of his LDS ward in Tucson and held various leadership callings but his real love was Scouting. He is survived by his wife Gail, daughter Carol Gneiting (Rexburg, Id.), sons Gary (Gilbert, AZ) and Tom (Tucson) along with 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 17 at the Tooele City Cemetery at 10 am. Any donations should be made to the LDS Perpetual Education
