bolinderjillJill Connie Bolinder died January 3, 2009 in Salt Lake City. She was born in Ephraim Utah to Connie Thursby Burr and L.R. Burr on a cold January 26, 1939 weighing only 2 and a half lbs. Her grandmother Thursby put her in the oven of the wood stove to keep her warm. She was raised in Ephraim and graduated from Manti High School with the first class to consolidate Ephraim and Manti kids in 1957. She married Don Petty in 1957 and her son Jeff was born in Nov 1958. Don and Jill divorced after 25 yrs of marriage. Jill married Glenn C. Bolinder and he died from complications of three strokes in 2003. She lived in Tooele for over 45 years. She lived every summer on the skyline of Ephraim Canyon in her cabin. She loved the mountains and the fresh air, the outdoors, freedom and the wild life. She worked for Dr. Burgoyne in his dental office, and then at the Health Clinic at the Tooele Army Depot, retiring from there. Survived by son, Jeff Petty and daughter in law Michelle, and 2 grandchildren Ashley and Justin all of St. George, many close friends and sister Rita Beck of S.L.C. The love of her life was her son and his family. Burial will be on Saturday Jan. 10th at 12:00 noon in the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
